How to update new mobile number on Aadhaar card:-
- Visit the nearest Permanent Enrolment Centre to make an update request, if you are planning to change the mobile number registered with your Aadhaar card with a new number.
- All you need to carry is your Aadhaar Card at the Centre for updating the mobile number.
- Further, if you are stuck at any step, you can also seek help from helplines shared by UIDAI. You can call on 1947 – which is toll-free. You can also mail your query at help@uidai.gov.in, as per the UIDAI website.
- You can visit UIDAI portal to search for information regarding Aadhaar centers.
As per the information available on the UIDAIportal, there are more than 100 permanent Aadhaar Centres in Delhi. Further, if you haven’t registered your mobile number with your Aadhaar yet, you can do it now. The Centre has issued Interactive Voice Response (IVR) services to facilitate linking of your mobile number with Aadhaar. Now, you need to go to your operators to link the two. Re-verification of mobile numbers can also be done by simply calling on the toll-free number (14546). On calling, an OTP will be generated which you will use to re-verify your registered number.
If you are on corporate plans, you just need not go through the re-verification process. For users having Airtel and Vodafone numbers, you have a luxury, as you can link your mobile number with Aadhaar in whichever state you are in, whereas for Idea customers, Aadhaar number should belong to the same circle as your mobile number. March 31 is the deadline to link Aadhaar with your bank account, insurance policy, and mobile number.
